1. Who is your favorite celebrity?
hmm. i don't really have a favorite. if i had to pick, i might choose rufus wainwright, just because he's such a diva while at the same time so talented... he's a riot. if he ever gets really big it'll suit him perfectly.

2. Who is your least favorite?
the aforementioned votes for gweneth and j lo reflect my feelings very well. i've also never been able to stand brad pitt, but he's getting a little more bearable as he gets older.

3. Have you ever met or seen any celebrities in real life?
met: gorbachev, new kids on the block, lisa loeb, ben folds, dar williams, john mccrea (cake's front man), rufus wainwright, teddy thompson, martha wainwright, the rest of rufus' band and shannon mcnally's band who no one else will know by name, kris delmhorst, brenda weiler, a bunch of other semi-famous musicians.
seen: michael jordan, will steger, john candy, i helped one of the mn timberwolves who was shopping for his wife at vs.
used to know: vinnie kartheiser, charlie korsmo, dan from road rules, etc.
i'm sure i'm forgetting something.

4. Would you want to be famous? Why or why not?
that's the plan. at least to be somewhat famous. it's kind of part of being a (successful) musician. plus i love being on stage, i don't mind the attention, and well. i don't know. it's just always been part of what i knew i wanted to do. when they used to have us draw pictures in elementary school of what we wanted to be when we grew up, i drew pictures of myself on stage.

5. If you had to trade places with a celebrity for a day, who would you choose and why?
hmm. maybe bjork, just to see what having vocal chords like hers would be like. i swear, she isn't built like regular humans. hearing/seeing her live just drove that home... normal people don't have vocal chords like that.
