shinken (who owns pixel_tiger) made me lovely wonderful icon presents which i simply adore. with this one and another of eowyn (which will make an appearance shortly) with lyrics from dar william's "after all," i decided my journal could use a makeover and ta da! pretty new color scheme et al. it makes me terribly happy.

also, i have much more substantial things to post about, having been gone since tuesday or so and being finally caught up with the hundreds of posts on my friends page. lots of things i want to talk about, but right now i'm starving. so, food.
