Burning?

What a very intriguing post. I'm hooked. What on earth are you talking about, and how big a flame are we talking?
Whatever it is, I wish I were there. No fire in far too long.

And burn it did, burial by barge, and exorcism by fire.

Were you around for our ritual burning of the photo of the M&D architect two summers ago?

That's what this made me think of. Miss you, hon.

i was not. i remember many darts being thrown at the picture, but i don't recall the ritual burning. too bad. this ritual burning however, went very well and was a great relief.

miss you too. when i have money again, i'm coming to visit. so there.

Once we exhausted the possibilities of throwing darts at poor Harry Weese, we burned him, and I lit a cigarette off his burning photo. Eeep. I just scared Michael by throwing open the bedroom door and shouting, "HARRY WEESE DESIGNED THE M&D!" He shrieked. It was funny. This is only being mentioned because we went on that architecture tour yesterday and the name Harry Weese kept being mentioned and it was bugging me as to where I knew it from, and just now, typing that, it came to me. He was obsessed with sailing. That's why there are so many round windows (portholes, yo) in the M&D. Heh.

You better come visit. Or I'll have to come visit you. And that's a threat I mean to follow through on.
