bryiarrosei was number 1061 to vote at the vfw today just after one p.m.
after casting my first-ever vote in a presidential election, i then went and did three rounds of door knocking with HRC/ACT--one in south mpls and two in north mpls. the first with a retired lesbian couple and a 60+ year old man wearing a "fairy for kerry" button, the second two with a u of mn bio prof from oxford.
i wore my kerry, dean, and rainbow carleton pins and the huge ACT sticker on my back. the best thing i heard at headquarters was, "i like your collection of buttons. both dean and kerry... that says everything right there."
for me, all that's left is to collect my free chipotle, sit back with my fingers crossed, and beg anyone out there that hasn't yet voted to go and do so.
