i may have lost my boy to indiana for the balance of the year, but tonight i'm replacing him with pears and grapes and camembert and his x-mas gift to me--my shiny new gidget dvd's (don't worry, he doesn't understand why i like them and i only barely do)--and if i can manage to kick this cold that's been strangling my life since christmas i won't feel half bad about most things. for the moment.

p.s. have been shamefully neglectful re: most social and correspond-ish things due to cold induced lethargy. although i keep saying i'll get better about it, really--i will!
