and here i thought i'd been trying to ignore my instincts in good faith.
apparently rob brezsney feels otherwise.

that'll show me )

but really, he's been remarkably 'on' recently. gets kind of scary sometimes.
on that note, i'm going to continue to ignore everything i'm only dealing with subconsciously for the rest of the night, go find my boyfriend and try and talk him into a study break, and then write another god-forsaken paper.

caucus appears to be down. how am i supposed to procrastinate on caucus if it won't load? don't they know it's ninth week and people are writing papers and need to be able to take breaks and read uf? internal server errors can kiss my ass. that is all.
we now return you to your regularly scheduled paper on nineteenth century quilts.

i'm sick of everything taking me twice as long as it should.
dramaturgy project: forever and then some.
education bibliography: three whole hours.
scanning quilts into photoshop: over an hour and a half because fabio and whatever version of windows they're running bites.
history paper: much longer than it should.
this is an easy paper, and on something i'm actually enjoying writing about. but it's taking me for fricking ever. and why can't i find a stupid american history timeline anywhere on the web? you know, like every high school history book has inside the cover. you'd think they'd be all over, but no. i have no mind for dates and when attempting to put something in historical perspective, remembering when what happened, is kinda useful.
on the upside, i've reached a point of inevitability about what can and can't get done on time. so at least i'm resigned to it. also, pancakes. i like them. and they're a good study break. i should make them more often. but why does the first one always have to get messed up?
