it's cold here. apparently 37 degrees out right now. that's pretty cold, even if it is late september. now really, i wouldn't mind so much. it's minnesota. it's supposed to get cold here. but. the heat in my house isn't on. granted, they've turned it on once or twice in the past couple of weeks-- for an hour or two, just to heat the house up before they turn it off again. and that makes some sense. but. tonight it is 37 out. i was cold this morning when i woke up, under the covers and wearing three layers. and the heat hasn't been turned on today, which means that i will be even colder tomorrow morning. i can't use my down comforter because it needs to be dry cleaned (hasn't been used in about four years), and i haven't been home at a time when my landlord has or when it would be okay to call. it must be just as cold in the rest of the house. i mean honestly. do these people enjoy freezing? because i don't. grr. *shiver shiver* here's hoping i don't wake up too frozen.

minervacat, i suppose this is for you. fx is running buffy at four, and tnt is running angel. if i were to watch one, which would you suggest? i think mostly, i'm trying to figure out why it is that so many people i know are addicted or obsessed or... whatever it is.
at any rate. woke up nice and toasty this morning thanks to the brilliant memory of
amojojo, who remembered the space heater out in the hallway even though she'd never used it herself. many thanks.
it's a perfect fall day today. fifty-something out and sunny with a blue blue sky and puffy white clouds. just a little breeze. now if only the leaves would catch up to the temperature. it feels like fall, but it doesn't really look like it yet.
i think i'm going to make yummy burritos for dinner and use the rest of the guac i made last night. then singers, then far too much homework.
