woke up too early, but it was almost worth it because i found a channel airing the littles, a cartoon show i loved when i was little. thinking about it, most of my favorite toys and cartoon shows and things dealt with tiny sized people or creatures. interesting if nothing else.
since then i've been watching al franken talk about lying lies... on cspan book tv. shocker i know. it's not that i don't care about politics et al, it's just that i have a hard time seeking things out. i do care when it's important and it's important lately. thus far i'm for howard dean, but perhaps more importantly for anyone but bush. i'll be 25 before the next presidential election and it will be the first one i vote in. i'm not a soap-boxey person when it comes to politics. frankly, most of the time i don't pay much attention. but i do think we need a change right now. a big change. i cringe, like so many other people, when i think about where we are right now and where we're headed as a country if something doesn't change--and soon. at any rate, i think the first point was that al franken is a terribly dynamic speaker and aside from making terrible amounts of sense, he's fun to watch. 'nuff said.
i love the way the sunlight comes into my apartment in the mornings. sometimes it happens in the mid-afternoon as well, but it's such pure light in the morning. lovely, inspiring almost.
my attention span yesterday was next to none, i'm hoping today it will be better and that i'll get a bit more done. both productive and otherwise. here's hoping.
