there's a full moon tonight bright as a searchlight, throwing shadows down from everything. the air smells of dew and fresh green growing things with just a hint of smoke. even with the chill that's settling in now, it's lovely out tonight. and the frog is back in the pond next door. sometimes i love living here, simply because it's so beautiful.

chicago was wonderful. i had a nearly perfect weekend i think. i didn't want to come back, but i suppose that's to be expected. i'm sick of school and wish i were doing something else, even if it was just living. but i'll keep trying to find where my motivation's gotten off to, because i know finishing is both important and important to me. at any rate, i bought a very cute dress while shopping with the newly stylish zennerthanyou, met minervacat's darling new kitty, played a kick-ass multi-player version of pacman, and generally enjoyed having quality time with my boy. life felt very good this weekend. the trick is getting it to feel that way all the time.
