rob brezsny made me laugh again last week. i saw this sunday when i woke up and meant to post it sooner than this, because it's oh so appropriate in so many ways at the moment. or was at that moment. something. *grin*

Think of all the beauty, creativity, and vitality that live in the world around you because of people whose relationships with gender are different from the standard models. For that matter, think of all the interesting experiences that have come your way--and may soon come your way again--because of your own refusal to strictly adhere to gender stereotypes.

i can't seem to sleep, but at least watching the world turn violet with the dawn is making it almost worth it.

it's even more brilliant and lovely than i can make the camera show... it's in the way the houses and the streets, every bit of the world is drenched in colors... a dream world of sorts.
