caffetto may be my new home
Aug. 23rd, 2004 05:49 pmoh my darlings, i am sick and tired of there not being internet at home. if all goes as planned, this should change within the week. then perhaps i'll return to more like normal.
my body and i are having daily arguments about how sore and tired it's allowed to be. i claim that i've waited tables on and off for the past five years and the present situation is nothing it can't handle. it steadfastly refuses to accept this argument and insists that i haven't done this in over a year so it's allowed to be bitchy while adjusting. *sigh*
the new place still has too many boxes, and my clothes are still mostly packed. the bathtub is fantastic and the boy is pretty darn good as well. i love that we can walk so many places, and that we can have people over if we want. i do not love the fact that they still haven't finished our porch, nor have they delivered our portable dishwasher. soon? please?
i'm terribly behind in nearly everything right now (unless it happens to be bringing a salad to your table or something) so bear with me another week or two and things will be better. things are better, i'm just still settling.
