the littlest birds

bryiarrosemy walk home was filled with cardinals and little black and grey finches. it's beautiful here, and the birds love it. the squirrels too. there's been sunshine all day, and i'm thankful for it.
about to back to finishing the prospectus. must finish promptly so that i can nap and then go on to my take home final. it's odd wanting as much time as possible between now and monday and wanting nothing more than for it to be over all at once. one of the guys in my seminar is carrying around a bright red milk crate today. filled with material relating to his comps. i decided it should be referred to as 'the big box of comps.' can't decide if i want one or not. i think perhaps i need a bag of comps. a very cool non-backpack bag that only my comps live in next term.
i'm getting loopy already. i hate to think what i'll be like in a week. also, i can feel every joint in my body today. they're all scolding me. alternately for lack of sleep, lack of stretching, actually going to yoga yesterday, and other various and sundry things i've neglected.
i had a moment on the way home where completely personally understood the choice to make a bold statement with your appearance as an artist. like pink with her pink hair. it got the point across, if nothing else.
