winter's here

it's still snowing out. snow that's weighing the tree branches down so that they're unnaturally low. it's lovely out. speaking as someone who doesn't have to drive in it at the moment, this is the kind of minnesota winter i love. plenty of snow, and not horribly cold... plus i got to wear my new boots which were bought at the jacobson's clearance sale in the summer. big good snow boots for tramping around outside and (eventually) playing broomball in. if the snow stays, perhaps i'll have to go up and take my siblings sledding this weekend. we'll see. point being, so far i'm loving the snow. i don't have a good guess at how much is out there, they keep saying 5-8 inches and that's probably right even if it is a big window. lovely.

Before driving home I was quite happy with the snow. I was thinking how if I didn't have class or homework it'd be fun to just put on boots and go walk around Uptown. Then I drove home. I HATE snow at the moment, or MNDOT, or both.
