just to reach you
Jan. 21st, 2003 08:49 pmso i finally finished my paper.
but i missed the broomball game.
which is probably for the best since i think i'm slightly sick anyhow. but i still wanted to play.
sometimes i just wonder
more than is probably good for me i realize
but still i wonder.
what is it about lyrics that can just short-circuit everything in your head?
and do you ever get the feeling that the shuffle function on your stereo/computer/whatever is mocking you?
not that it's doing so now, but well. sometimes i really think it does.
it just likes to fuck with me.
i should tear myself away from my computer. i really should.
and i should go practice for voice. but the tape player on my stereo has apparently died. (i'm hoping it's just having a tantrum right now. damn aiwa.) maybe i could call in sick for voice tomorrow and reschedule. don't want to get up early. don't want to go sing art songs right now. kind of want to play my guitar (which i've been neglecting something fierce). but really, just want to go find the kids and chill.
i think we have a winner.
