cave-2/26/04
Feb. 27th, 2004 12:42 ami'm still here somewhere. still alive. still hiding out. reading and not posting and missing the posting.
tonight i played as part of an early women's history month concert. it went well considering how sketchy my voice has been in the past week. now that i have a shiny digital camera (and actually remembered to bring it!) i have some of the first ever pictures of me onstage--and at the cave no less.

set list for 2/26/04
don't know where i'm going
blackbird queen
how do i begin
baby
take to the sky (tori amos cover)
what would you
not quite sure
only up to me
accidentals did a few songs after me and then haley bonar played... she had a rhodes (for those out there that don't know it's sort of a vintage keyboard... lovely lovely instrument) which i drooled over and t-shirts for sale which read "save a horse, ride a cowboy." all in all a pretty good night.
for those who wonder, in general right now things are pretty good. hectic at times, but pretty good. the choir/singers concert is tomorrow night and the accidentals concert is sunday night at eight (i encourage those who can to come... not a terribly long concert, but lots of new stuff), so my voice is getting a workout this week. which, really, i don't mind.

is that a dean sticker on your water bottle? i'm curious what the political climate at carleton has been like recently... was a majority of the campus devoted to dean? just curious...
