just when you thought that you'd got what you'd wanted

well, in spite of the busy, i seem to be playing the opening spot for the opening night of the cave tomorrow. the headliner is kid dakota, and well, i'm the opener. so y'all should come. and hey, it's a friday night. how often does that happen? yeah. not often. i expect i'll start playing around nine and then go for forty-five minutes or until my voice and fingers give out, seeing how i'm kindasorta out of practice just a bit.

oy. i'm exhausted. and my computer is sick. she's been sitting trying to have her disk repaired all night. it takes forever. literally. so i'm just posting quick from zennerthanyou's comp in the midst of trying to repair my musicality. send her good thoughts, and some for me as well.

nah, i've actually had other people come up to me before and say the same thing. it's a fine line between reading someone's journal and not telling anyone about it, or someone's your journal and admitting it. i think the latter is ultimately less creepy. and on top of that, that's what livejournals are for. for reading.
