bryiarrose | panic: We are hanging here

oh my poor baby computer. she just keeps getting sicker and sicker. spent countless hours trying to get her to start so that i could get stuff off of her, then more hours at the genius bar trying to get stuff off of her another way. when it looked like it should finally work, i left, went to 'dentals rehearsal, came home again and tried to move everything. bam. from bad to worse. i'm afraid that even if i drop $100 on disk warrior it won't do the trick and i'll be out the cash on top of everything else. guess i'll be spending a few more hours at the apple store tomorrow.

honestly, the knots my back is in over this are just incredible. next to nothing backed up, no warning that she was going under... mostly i'm just frustrated. once again, it seems that nothing can be easy. i've got jezebel (my battered old pc) up and running again in the meantime, but man. i miss arianwen something fierce.

so much lamenting about computer illness and the turbulence of life... i keep hoping one day i'll have the energy and concentration to get back to something thoughtful. *sigh*

mostly as a reminder to myself: cave set list etc to come. at some point.
