cy coleman died thursday from heart failure at age 75.
for those of you who don't automatically know who i'm talking about, he was an amazing jazz pianist and brilliant musical theatre composer. he's responsible for one of my favorite musicals, "city of angels", not to mention songs like "big spender" and "witchcraft."
really, with everything he was still working on and involved in, it's a shame to see him go.
