played a silly little show
wore ducks and rainbows and sparkly blue mascara to lend moral support
and i did all right. even with the sick and the unprepared.
martin devaney's band was pretty darn good too.
honestly, i think i may have gotten a better turn out than they did. which is kinda nice.

i have way too much work to do in the next week. well two weeks, but this first week is the one that may kill me. and the stupid people sold me the wrong adaptor plug for my new keyboard so i can't spill things on it yet. at least my yummy new optical mouse works.

came up with a new theory that my little box of energy that's been missing out of my chest might have gotten stuck in my head. that would possibly explain a) why my head has hurt for the past two weeks and has been so stupidly pressurized and b) why i've been even sillier than normal. sounds reasonable to me. now how do i get it out and back where it belongs?

eric and i will have been dating for four months tomorrow. my sarah (best friend) says i'm not allowed to have been dating someone for that long that she still hasn't met and so he's not allowed to see me again until she gets to meet him. may attempt to remedy that Saturday. but really. when did four months go by? that makes me sound almost functional again. or something.

just my stupid luck

drove all the way up to inver grove heights to get a transcript for the stupid dean so i can register.
and they're fucking closed. taped up little signs saying that everything's closed for staff servicing or some shit.
and they don't believe me that it's hard to get ahold of these people!
the only person i saw in the whole building was like, well they're all closed but they'll be open Monday.
i can't drive all the fucking way up there on Monday!
gah. so fucking pissed. but it's probably good that i was driving kevin to the airport too, or i really would have thrown a fit.

i filled out their stupid form, taped a check to it with a note saying what happened, and dropped it in the after hours tuition payment box.
please god let that be good enough.

got the new keyboard working. it's so little, it takes up nearly no space on my desk. but i have to get used to it. that whole, think you're hitting a key but you don't really 'cause it's not where you expect it to be. think i like it though.
but it's weird to type and not really hear the sound of it. yeah.
