who me random?

i don't post nearly as often anymore. and i certainly don't post as often as i think about posting. really, these are things i should remedy. among others.

life continues along fairly similar lines. work is work, and i think i'm going to end up with a second job for the next couple of months somehow. unless something major changes where i am now. for some reason it's just exhausting... be it not having a regular schedule or the way things are being managed... i don't know. but the commute is annoying as well, so i might as well look for something closer to home again.
oh. and start figuring out all that college stuff. oops. someone nag me about that will you?

accidentals is lovely, even if we can't quite seem to get our schedules ironed out. we're making good music and i love all of our new girls. we've had two mini-concerts the past two weekends and it's been good. with two weeks until our main concert, well. we'll see.

in other news, the boy and i are throwing a halloween/housewarming party this friday. if you're going to be in the uptown area and haven't heard the details one way or another, let me know.

one of the best things about having this party? we're finally finishing with the unpacking. hooray for no more boxes and things being put where they go! now, to fight over all the fun stuff like what art gets to go up where. *sigh* all these boys and their china.

can't sleep.
too much in my head. i think.
and the boy is lovely, but i fidget in bed.
trying to fall asleep, to find the blankets that are the key to it
trying to find the breathing and a heartbeat
before it's morning.

sometimes i feel so lost
that lost is all i want to be.
