i'm going to sleep, i swear i am.
but i was thinking tonight, as i walked out of the libe into the not as cold as it had been but still not spring.
thinking about the way time passes. in particular, the way it passes for songs. how they age.
and i thought about 'how do i begin' for a moment. because the weather was just right.
i thought to look it up now, as i'm about to go to sleep.
while (silly me) i don't actually date the page in my book, i do have the date on the one quoted line within it.
it's a year old today.
sometimes you just have to wonder about the way the subconscious works.
