1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?

9 with my family (8 houses, 1 apt.)
3 dorm rooms and 1 campus house
5 of (essentially) my own (2 apts. 3 houses).

that's a grand total of 18. do i win?

2. Which was your favorite and why?

everything has it's pros and cons... my last apartment (the one in uptown) was pretty nearly perfect. wood floors, big windows, good layout. but i needed one more closet and a better kitchen. my first apartment in northfield was good too... huge with a great bathtub. but i don't know if it ever really felt like home.

3. Do you find moving between houses more exciting or stressful? Why?

more exciting i think. i really like moving-- trying out somewhere else and adapting. finding new quirks. but i also think it's partially because i haven't found someplace i really really love yet.

4. What's more important, location or price?

mmm. somewhere in the middle. probably location if i'm being honest. but then again, if i can't afford it i can't afford it. so. character attempts to win over either of those actually.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?

great windows, wood floors, a garden, lots and lots of character, nice big old trees. i would love an attic and a turret with a bay window, but we'll see.
