getting ready to go to classes today. slept through them all again yesterday.
finally have an appointment with the wellness center for this afternoon so i can figure out if there's some cause behind all of this besides allergies. at this point i'm starting to suspect sinus infection, but we'll see. fun, right?

didn't get a whole lot done over the weekend. work was terribly busy both Saturday and Sunday, so not only was i there for what felt like eternity, i was also exhausted when i got home. so here i am going in to Tuesday... still behind in my work, still exhausted, and with so much to do i'm not sure how to catch up.
i felt terribly guilty in some ways about working this weekend after not being able to go to classes. mostly because it wasn't a true reflection of my priorities. but if i don't go to work i get fired, and i need this job to pay for food and rent and college and all. so even if i don't need the money when i'm scheduled to work (like this weekend), i don't get much choice. the one plus to being crazy busy though, i made lots of money. part of me really wants to blow it on a gamecube, and the rest knows that's probably not the most brilliant idea. we'll see.

i'm sure there's more, but i'm not sure what. my brain just isn't functioning properly. still.

I broke down and got a Game Cube and I'm glad. The cost of the system isn't too bad, but the games are what really break the bank. On the other hand, there are tons of good games that you can get used now.

(Join us, and you too can be obsessed with Zelda and Animal Crossing and Super Monkey ball and....)

oh, the game cube will happen. there's no doubt about that.
the question is simply whether it will happen now or later. i knew i'd have to get one eventually to play wind waker if for no other reason. but now that i've seen/played a couple of the other games and taken a look at what else is scheduled to be released and listened to everyone talk about playing zelda... yeah. i'm definitely jealous and kind of obsessed. unfortunately, it's looking more like it may have to wait a few weeks. but we'll see.

I hear ya. For some reason, work always felt more important than classes when my brain and/or body fell through.

I dunno what it is this week -- it seems like everybody I know in the state is under the weather. I think there must be something low-level going around, plus the first batch of spring pollen...

At any rate, feel better! (That's an order to your immune system. Not that I've got jurisdiction, but maybe it won't call my bluff.)

i've always thought it had something to do with sanity... work and extracurricular stuff tend to make me at least feel like i'm semi-functional. going to class or writing papers while sick though... that's another story.

sucky part is i'm not supposed to be allergic to pollen... it should be mold for me. who knows. but thank you for ordering my immune system around. (i tend to believe that works too.)
