just a boring update

bryiarrosemeant to post last night and then decided sleep was a better idea. on the bright side, i'm awake before noon and i slept last night. i think it's due in great part to the fact that i slept over at wilson both when i napped last night and then when i went to sleep for real. lots of sunshine in the morning (hooray!) and traffic and someone peeking in to wake me up help. i do really like the room though. anyhow.
most of unco went and crashed reunion parties last night. i know we hit '63, '93, and '98 at least. '98 and mai fete were the only ones that were really any good, and there wasn't any good pillaging to speak of last night. then again, we did make a huge haul friday night when they went foraging the first time.
the strange part about this reunion for me is that class of '98 were seniors when i was a freshman. so i know a bunch of them. i ran into john and lindsay, the two exit 69 members who graduated that year and talked to them both for a while. it was nice. i must say though, that some of the more trashed unco members were somewhat embarrassing. and mccleod walking through the '98 party saying 'excuse me sir' to people didn't help. they're not that much older.
all in all, it was a good night. i woke up from my nap to the fireworks over lyman lakes, hung out with the company, saw some old friends, and talked to karen very very briefly about the whole Eleemosynary thing. (i'm probably going to kind of assistant direct or something. we'll see. but we talked, so that's good.)
today i'm going up to the cities to show off the powerbook to my family, hopefully do taxes with my dad, and meet brett at opitz to find her a dress for the show (damn costume shop with nothing bigger than a size seven in it). as long as my dad doesn't get too terribly fed up with me it should be a good day. i have my pretty baby, so how could it be? name is still being worked on-- i'll keep you posted.
and! the stupid housemate is supposed to be leaving sunday or so. which is great, as long as he cleans the kitchen like he's supposed to. because i'm sure as hell not going to. i'm going to try to have faith for a bit that it will actually happen. if not, i'll hire someone to clean it and have lavern take it out of his security deposit or something.
now. off to eat something and drive up. have good days all.
