boring day, but productive i guess.

bryiarrosetoday was good for the most part. i just got home from my parents house, now, at midnight. but we got the taxes done and even filed mine electronically. in a week or two i will not be horribly broke anymore. at least for a little while. that's one of the other great things about waiting tables, i always end up with a nice big tax return.
also, the costuming field trip was highly successful. we found a gorgeous outfit that brett and i both agreed on, and it was only like $15. score. precisely why i love opitz so much.
the not so good parts of the day: apparently if you live in mn you only get one reminder about paying your speeding ticket before they revoke your license. being that i a) forgot to pay the second half of it at the end of may when i was supposed to, and then b) couldn't afford to when they sent the reminder, i currently am without a valid drivers license. damn. fixable, but a pain.
the other not so good thing is that my pc is still acting up horribly. every other computer in the house will connect to the internet, even with the same cable and everything, but jezebel won't. and this time when i restarted her, she started running really, really slow. if she was still my only computer i would be freaking out about now. as it is i'm not terribly comfortable since all of my mp3's and files and so on are still on her. and until i can get online or have fifty bucks to spare for the switch program, that won't change. grr. i just need to wipe the damn thing. soon. very soon.
now, i'm tired. i think, once i finish running some tests on the pc, i will head over to wilson and go to sleep. need to sleep there because otherwise i probably wouldn't make it up and over there in time for house meeting. so. another night on a bed without sheets. lots of fun. i'm very nearly ready to be living in only one place again. which is good because soon i will be. i'll be more interesting tomorrow. promise. 'night all.
