had a productive night in the costume shop. nearly everything is done except for karen's dress, for which i will try to buy fabric tomorrow. so that's good.
also, menwy and i cooked tonight, and did very well if i may say so. chili with chicken on his part and a really good salad on mine. happy stomachs all around.
the depressing part of my day was the start. unfortunately, the clock which i had taken over to wilson with me stopped at about seven a.m. and so didn't go off and wake me up this morning like it was supposed to. since no one thought to come look for me even though my car was in the driveway (they did call my cell, but it was turned off) i woke up at four. and since they decided today to implement a new late jar policy ($1 for every half hour you're late... um hello? it's always worked fine the other way) i now owe four bucks to the late jar that i don't have. i'm not happy about this, especially since i slept at wilson only so that they could wake me up for house meeting if i didn't wake up. and today not waking up wasn't even my fault! frustrated frustrated. am not a happy girl. anyhow.

i should now take a bath and head back over to unco (where the internet connections are all still dead) so that i can try to sleep.

the pc? still uncooperative. i've run every test i know. anyone have any suggestions about why it thinks there's a connection (which there is) but won't connect? needless to say, it's pissing me off.

the new baby is still lovely though. i downloaded an episode of zim that i haven't seen. haven't decided if i'm watching it or waiting until zennerthanyou comes back. hey boy, when do you come back btw? people keep asking me and i don't know either.

alright. going to be clean now.

Sorry to hear about the UNCO trials and tribulations. Hope things go better this summer. Perhaps it is only because it's a week into the summer, and the other company members haven't realized that "company" means watching out for one another, like waking someone up if they are obviously there and just not up and about, yet. I seem to remember a certain Townie (not to be confused with a certain townie) who would run around the house yelling at the top of his lungs to make sure everyone was awake for house meetings... even if that house meeting happened not to be a real house meeting and happened to be at 4:00 in the frickin morning when some people had to be at work in three and a half hours! :)

You might try resetting your DNS thingies. I can't quite remember how to do it, but it fixed my computer a couple of times this past year when there was a connection but no connecting.

thanks for the suggestion. i think it was some sort of interference with the airport, but i'm still not sure. when i get it set up again i'll have to try that.
