...don't know where i'm going...

home now from chicago. we made terribly good time considering that it decided to pour for at least two hours of the drive (if not more).

on the plus side of today:
went to ikea.
had good mexican food.
did not kill us while driving home.

on the bad side:
didn't get back anywhere near when i was supposed to.
didn't go to 'dentals auditions.
can't decide if i want to try and talk to them about it anyhow.
haven't done my homework for tomorrow, including my cs lab that i don't have the assignment for.

but. i got the hell out of northfield. i saw minervacat and zennerthanyou and loads of other people i love. i got to meet febrile, albeit very very briefly and with many allergies on my part. i got to drive and drive and drive. i'm looking at this weekend as having been my real last weekend of summer. now to buckle down. *sigh*

i get my cable modem tuesday! thankfully. 'night all.

Howdy!

Just taking a gander at your journal after your comment to minervacat tonight for the first time. I did enjoy, over the loud country & western, being able to shake your hand briefly when you were in Chi-Town. Min sez grand things about you always, and I am soon going to arm-wrestle her until she lets me hear some of your stuff. If ever you need a harmonica journeyman on any subsequent recordings, do give me a buzz. (And be in the general Chicagoland area.)

And I think you should listen to the Tanya Donelly and Belly that Min told me you copied from her hard drive. She's quite quite.
