better. getting there. slowly.
now if only i can sleep tonight.
there's been about one night in the past week that i've really slept, and that's half of why i think i still feel icky.

but everything was melting today
and there's a certain smell to northfield
when it's just thinking about spring but isn't yet
that doesn't smell like quite anywhere else i've ever been.
it brings back memories, and that's what makes me realize that.

i'm excited to have

minervacat here this weekend.
really wish it stays in this spring mood while she's here, but so far it's not promising.
tonight though, the sky is beautiful. blue with dark clouds here and there
and the stars so bright.
water, you can hear it running everywhere.
i've missed this place.
