the chapel bells are playing "somewhere" from west side story right now.

this makes me happy.

good and bad

the mail waiting for me turned out to be brenda weiler's brand new album which i paid for at a show about a week ago. so, not panther, but still good.


while i was in chicago i apparently lost my scarf. this is the second scarf i've lost in as many years making my current scarf count zero. today is cold and wet out. it was trying to slush when i woke up this morning. the cold air makes my lungs unhappy, and after walking to sayles there is no doubt: i need a new scarf.

the three little kittens they lost their mittens...

so i went and bought a bleach kit and red hair dye. "fire red" so if i decide to actually do it, i can be an even more authentic fire demon for halloween. and then have redred hair. if you care, speak now or never.

( then i stopped at aquatic pets. )

now it's off to actually finally try to finish my damn moby-dick paper. the weight of my prospectus draft has been lifted for now, seeing as not one of us had it done for today and now the deadline has been changed to whenever we can get it done or at latest 11/4. calmer. slightly. and i'm trying to wean myself off the tv, which should help as well. but now to work.
