november is grey and rainy tonight. dripping outside and melting away the snow that fell in the two or three hours i slept this morning. at least it had the decency to wait until november proper came around to really snow. now, though i may complain, at least i feel like it's entitled.

we made good music tonight. good enough that i think having the boys play with me on thursday can only help. so. thursday night, nine pm at the cave. we'll play for nearly an hour, then sir isaac newton and his royal funk orchestra will play. i'm really terribly excited. i get to debut my band! finally!

also terribly excited about: rufus at first ave on december 7th. oh oh oh. so happy about that. can't wait. and with either martha (my guess) or teddy opening. if jeff is still touring with him, it will be perfect. can. not. wait.

rough draft of my comps prospectus is due tomorrow. the chances it will get done? eh. the chances that it will be done well? less. then i get to do a presentation on it wednesday night. oh goodie.

my food should come now. not in half an hour. now.

also, i know of one miss elisa spencer that i sent a code to ages ago who should still come and play with us. (speaking of "now!")

i have to do work now? boo.
