for those of you interested in how much i suck, the following story:

tonight i tried out for roller derby.

i was one of ten people sent home.


and yes, the skates i was wearing didn't fit and my allergies meant that breathing was harder than normal. but still. i went. i tried. i stopped to try and fix my skates an awful lot. i got sent home. i tried not to cry even though eric said i could. i talked a lot about how i suck at life right now, and how just generally, i'm pretty broken. guess i need to learn to change that.

I third this comment. Trying out for roller derby is officially the coolest thing I've heard of ANYONE doing in at least several months. That totally rocks.
